Went to court and got a judgement in favor of eviction. I was going through an absolutely terrible time back then in all regards. I would have never even needed to rent the place out to begin with, much less to the people I rented it to, nor put up with even one bit of the bullshit I did, had things not been so bad for me.

Things are a lot different now and I may have the place back for myself someday, or just keep it as a rental property so long as i have an excellent tenant. There are a lot of bad memories from that house though, and I may just move on to something different when the time comes.

Neighbors keeping to themselves are a side effect of the type of society we have allowed America to become.
Us too, we lucked out huge. Dead end street, and awesome neighbors. Something like 3 teachers, an accountant, an ems/firefighter, a retired couple, and the guy who owns the auto shop down the street. And that's just on our end of the street. If anything, the retired old lady next door is the worst part. She's nice as can be, but reminds me of Gladys kravitz lol

        Since this is sortof related.

Neighbors fence is falling down into my yard and her crazy plants are going thru/over the fence into mine making the fence situation worse. I've only seen her once since living here for 9months. Some old old lady. Fence posts are on her side.

When I had cable installed and they wanted to go beside my fence line they had to check to see if there was a cable already at her house even if she wasn't using it. She told them no they can't even look in her backyard.

So how would I go about replacing this fence?

Hey while I am at it..... anyone have the super duper hook up on fence panels? 6 foot high I believe. I gotta get over there and investigate when I get back in town.

I did the "sharing costs" once before and probably never again. Too much hassle to be honest, since then I just replace the fence myself and forgo the drama. Luckily at my new house I don't have to worry about that anymore.

Why is that? No fence anymore?

My house has a peculiar design where I have a 2 car garage in the front and rear of my house, with my own alley which wraps all the way around my property. I do have one small side that butts against a neighbor, but my shop pretty much blocks that entire side of the property.

You can do what our neighbors have done and leave a foot gap between fences. Now they've got a forrest and boards being pushed away by growth over the last numerous years.

I decided it was best to send an email to them, since I'm not in town or have good opportunity to get face to face with them. They can read it at their convenience and we can then have a conversation in the future. They're pretty reasonable so I am sure we can come to an agreement.

X2. Then build a new fence and play Texans vs. Mexicans.
