I had a guy offer me less than I was asking for a riding mower and I accepted, but I was going to have to trailer it to a place and meet him. Last thing I told him was "Bring the full amount we agreed on in cash. There will be no more haggling when you see it or I will drive away." Suddenly he wasn't as interested. Focker was going to drop another $50 from the offer after I drove over there.

Weird stuff. Had a mexican family show up in a very nice Navigator loaded with Dad, brother, son, wife, and mom from about 50 miles away to buy another riding mower. We ended up removing the steering wheel and seat and loaded it in the back of it with the seats down. Somehow grandma and son squeezed in the back around it. At least they gave me the asking price.

A vietcong showed up in a Mustang vert and a trailer to buy another mower. After I specifically told him NOT to drive off the driveway because we had had heavy rains, he drove out in my yard to turn around and got stuck. I had to pull him out with my truck before he left worse ruts. Then he had the nerve to talk me down on my already rock bottom price. Nope, you lost all negotiating room when you messed up my lawn.

Along those lines, I had a little old woman show up to buy a little entertainment center. She showed up in a 4 door pontiac or something. I carried it out to the curb and asked if someone was showing up to pick it up with her. SHe said no, I thought i could put it in my trunk. She popped the trunk and it was empty. I realized it still wasn't going to fit. I asked again if someone can just come get it later, and she made some bs excuse about her son.

Sure enough, i had to completely disassemble it to get it in her car.

Then 8 calls later, he wants me to give him his money back. Seems it doesn't work with the lid open and when I suggested he close it, he asked how he could see that it works with the lid closed. I finally agreed to take it back as I was busy with the kiddo and $150 was the last thing on my mind.

On my way home, he calls 4 more times, each more slurred and idiotic than the last. He not only wanted his money back, he wanted the $40 he paid someone to pick it up, his gas back and forth twice, the $50 in hoses he bought AND for me to come and get it. Either way, he was on his way over to get his money back and I could pick it up later.

I advised my new friend not to come over without the appliances and expect his money. He started in a 20 minute story about how I was taking food from his kid's mouth and his mouth and he worked 9 am to 9 pm and made $200 a week and was out $100 on top of the $150 he gave me and I should give him all of the money and let him keep the washer and dryer because he needed them.

Well, an hour ago they showed up to bring the pair back out with the same black truck and 6 guys. He started in on how I should give him the money to pay the guys standing there with all of them looking right at me. I was polite but informed him that his $150 could be split however he liked but they were leaving right then. It was interesting for about 20 minutes or so but it worked itself out. People can be very nice when you are fully ready to shoot all of them in the face with hollow points.

You have way more patients than I do, after the very first call, I would have told them to get FUCKED, and blocked their number.

And, if they showed up at my house, advise them I will be shooting a video to be posted on YouTube and them being shot for trespassing
