You don't have to race to realize the benefit of a full second to 60mph in a DD.

For my benefit, I'd be more attracted to a 45-90 time for the highway merges/passing situations. That's just me.

Do you not think that a car that's a full second faster to 60, won't also have more punch at 45?

Depends, some get more torque at the top end.

So if he doesn't think that it won't ...

Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

              <----- a few times

And yes, when I test drove a 1100-mile 2010 SRT8 6-speed Challenger, it was a fat, bloated mess.

The new car will be badass. But I see they still haven't addressed the "too-fucking-small" rear tire that is dictated by the IRS components and small wheelhouses. That's a shame.

                At least 10-15 times.

As much as I jump on the gas(pretty much every time I hit the left pedal), yes, it makes a big difference. If there isn't any traffic around I still drive like a 16 year old asshole and treat the car like a go cart. That's what it was built for.

Love the challenger and I don't care how fat it is. Hell, my T-bird SC was 4100lbs with 230hp and it was plenty quick for daily driving.

The question was more or less directed at Eric because I was in doubt that it was the final decision maker (0-60 time).

The innerweb purports a base MSRP of $55.
