Saying no? Because I'm paying 16 per kid.

And it doesn't count if you have custody of one the kids right? Because you aren't supporting them or anything with they live with you. (sarcasm)
My oldest lives with me, and I support him 100%. His mother pays me $160/mo in support. Due to being my son's financial support, they only take 17.5% on my daughter, rather than 20%.

I suggest after getting your tooth fixed that you leave the country and find a new life somewhere else because basically, you are fucked till those kids turn 19.

            good luck.

Are you required to keep them on your insurance, or is she covering that?

Can they raise it to 40? If we're going to arbitrarily skate the age of majority, let's do that shit proper...because law school is fucking expensive.

The standard in Texas is 20% for the first kid, 5% for each additional (plus medical insurance). So 1 kid is 20%, 2 is 25%, 3 is 30% and so on. Assuming they are with the same mother and father, of course. If the person paying has kids with multiple partners, it's a little different.

That should also be based on "net" income (minus federal taxes) not gross.

That doesn't mean that is what will happen in every situation, that is just the guideline that most courts follow.

Max is 25% for two, PLUS healthcare. Mothers are VERY unwilling to give up a payday. That's not even an option for most people.

Yup. Two different mom's I'm paying out to. That's why 16 per. The medical can be gotten around by putting them on my ins. Was cheaper that way.

Stupid part was fellas. I was actually paying more in cash willingly before child support. They wanted more I said nope. Then they tried to keep my kids away. So I actually initiated the support.

They get $150 less each a month than before and by court order I get them every weekend summer and holidays. Hell they cant leave the county without me being ok with it. To top it off the courts made them change their last name to mine.

Always go.in with a lawyer fellas. It's worth it.
