They shouldn't, that doesn't mean they don't. Most of the argument surrounding facts is getting people to ignore their emotions on the topic and look at the facts.

Yes I have and most of the time the lazy ass kids took their parents wealth and stuck them in a nursing home so they didn't have to fuck with them.

That's a goddamn shame right there. I've seen it more than I care to as well.

Keep your facts, and enjoy your meaningless life. I get to be happy with a rounded view of life.

Yup, I used to work for a medical supply company back in the day, I had to hit a majority of the nursing homes in the area as well as the ones in the country (well country back them, Seagoville, Ennis, etc.). I used to fuck quite a few nurses and they used to tell me how the kids (grown people) would take their parents money when they couldn't make decisions for themselves and just stick them in these nursing homes. Some of them places smelled like death right when you walked in. It was sad too, sometimes I was there when someone would pass and the nurses would really get torn up about it. I had to quit that job after awhile, it was quite sad...

LOL, no minivan here and I'm sure my opinion will change in a few years since she is just turning 3 next week.

I just turned 40k on my '12 bought that I bought on 7-1-11 and I was thinking it might be time to trade it on a '15 5.0, especially after I saw it at the Shelby show up front and personal.
40k?! I've driven this fucker all over the country for the last 18 months! Lack of commute doesn't hurt, but I was only 5 miles from my store anyway. She might be getting wrung out a little more before the year is out. I've got 2 different trips mapped out, I actually would have straight up bailed out last week if I wasn't dealing with contractors finishing up some projects on my house.

I haven't really mentioned it yet, but the hot tub seems to be really helping me out a lot. I've actually gone out and exercised the last few days for the first time since last October. This whole deal has been an endless circle. At home all day=gain weight. Gain weight= back problems worsen. Exercise= injure yourself, do even less for 4 or 5 days. Rinse, repeat.

...life does not work that way though for most marriages. Probably not all that great anymore anyway. I'm sure being single is not as fun as it was in the teens/early 20s.

That no kid policy is going to filter more and more chicks the older you get. I'd judge the chick by her kid(s) and go from there. Even if brats, what's that got to do with getting thy willy wet? If feeling trapped, yell at the brat and she'll kick you out. It's perfect.

lmfao! I will say that I am having a lot of fun, but you are right, it isn't like being single in your 20's. All your friends are married with kids, suddenly you're not constantly meeting new people all the time, which starts drying up prospects. Not even getting into the fact that most of the single women my age are batshit nuts and fake as hell. It can be comical watching them think you're not having alarm bells and tornado sirens going off inside your head after their every sentence sometimes, but it can also be highly irritating to waste the time. And the money.

I'm home all day and don't gain weight, you need to adjust your diet to suit your sedentary life. Your vicious cycle is harder to combat due to lack of exercise, but the root cause is food choices and quantity.

As far as the kid thing, I can only relate in the fact that I spend the lion's share on my wife-to-be and step-daughter, and don't really even buy anything for me anymore, yet my quality of life is leaps and bounds more fulfilling than when I was single with a wallet full of cash. I can only imagine that having my own child would be 10-fold more fun/rewarding. It's an investment in my emotional, not financial stability.

Oh, you got me there! I value different things than you do so I must not have a rounded world view and a meaningless life.

Refusing to conclude that you are wrong does not mean you value different things.

                                I feel sorry for you.
