      On a personal level… Sgt Carter is one of those type of people you would lay your life on the line for. I am so proud he is getting media recognition, because beyond this incident he is model human being.

              I like what that cop did, and this is not directed at him in any way, but it really goes to show you how bad things have gotten. Basically, he is being praised for not simply shooting the dog.

              So shooting the dog has become the norm, and not shooting the dog deserves commendation.

                sad but true, and I value my dogs life and well being a lot higher than most people I meet.
