I have AHS on my house and they've been good to me. My AC was out and it took them a few hours to get it back on and running full blast and when I had gas heat, they came out, checked everything and lit the pilot light every winter. I use 2-10 warranty and had a good experience with them replacing my evap coil in the handler last week. Warranty contractor was awesome, I'll call him again before anything goes to warranty.
Hope you get yours fixed, our place got up to 90* upstairs while it was out. :/Comment

I don't know how you guys get American Home Shield to cover anything. I do pools and they will not authorize ANY repair that cost over $186 even if it is covered; that is why I stopped doing work for them. Ya'll will notice that anytime the contractors replace a pool pump for AHS that the tag is taken off of the motor. That is because AHS refused to cover the repair and the service tech took off the tag so they can claim the new motor as defective under the warranty from the manufacture. Where in the west area? I have one I used when mine died that's just sitting in my shed. Practically new. Small but will keep a bedroom cool. If you're close I'd be willing to loan it out for a while till you get it figured out.
