They are an awesome breed. That was the breed I had growing up. That dog would play all day.

Mine chills all day sometimes, but it depends on the day. If the weather is bad and she's cooped up all day, late in the day she'll come up to me and start "talking" wanting to play. I'll let her out and she just runs laps around my big backyard without any encouragement at total full tilt; I'm talking running with everything she's got. And she is fast. Cracks me up. I've had her for a little over 7 months now and can't believe how attached I've gotten to that little psycho.

Why even have pets at that point? If you just want something to look at get some art - you won't even have to feed it or pick up shit.

Our dogs are allowed on the couch but they are not allowed to touch the leather with their feet. We put up a blanket for them to get on and they are great about staying on it. Our 19 month old daughter is worse than the dogs. I recently got a picture sent to me of her putting her plastic chair on the couch to sit on while she watched TV. I am sure the dogs were facepalm'ing.
