I really like the dark "guard" color. Second choice would be the gold. I love gold.

Mine would run around $43K. Premium GT with Track Package, Recaro seats.

However I expect there will be $5K in discounts after a year or two of sales...

I still want to know what the power output is on the EcoBoost four banger. Similarly equipped, it would run $35380. Of course it's performance pack doesn't have the Brembos..

Ford fucked up by making the car heavier in my mind.. Losing a few hundred pounds would have sold me on the car.

Weren't people paying around $24,500 for the '12 GTs?

That was on the extreme low end "Year End Sale!" stripper models, and it didn't last long. About 28-32k is the average range recently.

I'll take a sale stripper model for $20k less, please. Also, she's not as fat.

Uhh yes it is. Gaining weight, any weight, was a bad move.
I might check out an ecoboost model next year.

Sounds about right.. Looking at Grapevine Ford's site, the highest Mustang GT Premium MSRP is $42315 discounted to $37590. It has the Track Package, Electronics package with NAV, and Comfort pkg. The Base MSRP for that car is $35310. The base price of the 2015 GT Premium is $36100, an $890 increase..

The cheapest Manual GT at Grapevine is $28137 with an MSRP of $32035. It has no options on it and a base MSRP of $31210 (extra is delivery charge). The 2015 base GT is $32100, which is also a $890 increase..

So it's fugly, bloated, and overpriced. Not a good mix. Ecoboost looks like the best model.
