        That's an interesting existential question. As an Apex Predator we're potentially running the world into the ground with over population and expending resources. If we want to genuinely become as special as most people seem to think we are, we're going to have to achieve some sort of balance, not just with nature and our instincts, but first with each other. That probably sounds hilarious coming from me, but we all have our individual burdens to bear.

                  You'll all have to pardon me. My pain management meds make me all happy save the worldish in the mornings when they kick in since there has been a big gap in taking them from sleeping. It's kind of nice looking at things that way though to be honest. My world view has changed a lot in the last year, and sometimes it's like I'm fighting with myself over who is at the controls. That's the most honesty you guys can expect out of me for awhile.

                            That is no different than the US, other than the US outlawing being homeless and forcing the individual to sign up for benefits, then parading him around as a success story.

                            Hard to call someone else fucked up when we're just as bad, if not worse due to the additional helping of hypocrisy in there.
