Negative, it's a Guard unit so the state is responsible. Now which state since it's a Missouri unit and an Arkansas base?

You fix it yourself and figure out which government agency to sue. Eventually you might get something back if there is any funding available. I'm going through this with my wife's car which was hit in the last Fort Hood shooting.

Bullet hole from the shooter, or collision?

Hey, there was a shooting at Fort Hood. It was kind of a big deal.

Thats the kind of shit someone's career/job/commission needs to end over.

And if it was a cop, people would be calling for the book to be thrown at them as an example.
I'm not asking you to dismiss it, just reconcile the difference and try to understand people being angry over an institution that regularly violates citizens basic rights versus a training mistake. Your initial post was simply incorrect in trying to contrast reactions to the two.

Good point, not sure how the funding would work on that. AD Army pays for accidental damage fairly easily.

But seriously, a handful of heads are gunna roll. They can kiss their careers good bye.

She's part of the 1st medical brigade, SSgt Lazaney-Rodriguez was her supply sgt. Her car took a round to one of the doors and there was blood splatter on another.

National Guard could have killed someone through remarkable incompetence, and its time for jokes!
Random mistake that results in an apology and payout versus a sustained violation of rights across the United States, in direct opposition to the 4th amendment.

                          Yep, no difference whatsoever.
