Got it done when I was about 29 or so... no big whoop. No issues.

Had mine done at 25. It sucked! I've had three minor back procedures, several knee and elbow scopes and the tonsillectomy was by far the worst of them all. Good luck!

I had mine removed along with a cancerous turmor the size of a small baseball at age 36. Worst fucking thing I ever went through besides the radiation treatment..

Had mine taken out at 18. It was fucking terrible. Worse than surgery on my nutsack, worse than having my ear cut off. IT WAS SHITTY.

Can't eat anything without serious pain. Once I started healing and it felt better I made the mistake of accidentally trying vodka. Open sores in throat + vodka = pain

Man, I came close to having my out in my Teens (puss pockets kept appearing and kept getting sore throats)

Luckily my body shaped up and I didn't have to do it. Now I am glad.

Had mine done early 20s. It wasn't a cake walk but also didn't think it was as bad as others had made it out to be.

A friend of mine is who just had it done on Tuesday. She's 24 and is still in a lot of pain. She's trying to drink plenty of cold liquids but it hurts her so much. She still hasn't been able to eat anything and this is day 5 already. Pain meds ain't doing much for her other then making her sick to her stomach. This surgery is no joke. Time will tell if it was all worth it or not.

I'll give her a nice blast from my purple headed yogurt slinger. Maybe that'll help.
