How to deal with Mosquitos?

I got one of those purple light bug zappers. I had my doubts but it actually works pretty good.

I'm sitting in the garage drinking a few cold ones and they're killing me. I've tried the candles and coils before with eh results. Any reccomendations?

I just drink 3 bottles of Tabasco before I go out, then when they bite me they just explode. Seems to work well

it really does work great, if you are sitting up on a ladder sometimes the wind will disperse it a bit, but in a pop up or box blind it works awesome, usually takes about 5 minutes after you turn it on and mosquitoes are all gone.

DEET or picaridin applied to exposed skin, permethrin on the clothes, the rest are just gimmicks. Drain any standing water if possible.

IDK what the hell subspecies of mosquitoes is out right now but the fuckers are relentless and don't wait for dusk. They were camping out by my citronella candle and my previously beloved fogger has had minimal impact.

I'm fortunate that those bastards hate my cajun blood. However they apparently love Japanese food. They are relentless on my poor wife.

I use the fogger once a week. I have a very large back yard so it takes almost an entire bottle of that stuff to do the job. I also put tiki torches and those burning coils around my wife's chair. The poor gal still gets bit..

this has been by far the worst week of those big mother fucking blood sucking vampires I've ever had at my house. They actually look like black clouds flying around in swarms!

Down here in Corpus, the mosquitos are as thick as I have ever seen them anywhere. Many local businesses here use Guano-Gro. I am going to give it a try this weekend and let you know how it turns out.

today i bought a bug zapper and a box fan and strategically placed them. also doused the area and garage down with the fogger beforehand managed to work on my car for about 4 hrs without dying.
