I'm wondering why the news story says "They said it appears one or both of the drivers were at fault and that the child's father obeyed all traffic laws." The witnesses say that the whit car was at fault for pushing the red truck into the father and child.

Legal liability.

If you don't know for sure, then don't say. "Witnesses" can't be sued, but the news station sure can.

Does anyone ever think about how many cues in those drivers or dads day led him to being there at that exact second...when tragedies happen that is all i can think about. A split second difference here and there throughout a day......

Man, I think about that a lot. 5 seconds could have made all the difference in the world when my daughter was killed, by either the Aunt driving, or the truck that hit them. The "what if's" never stop.
