ARLINGTON, Texas - Arlington police are investigating the death of a baby boy who was killed Thursday morning in a chain reaction crash.
It happened around 9 a.m. at the intersection of Cooper Street and California Lane in Arlington.
Witnesses told FOX 4 that a white car ran a red light and hit the back of a red pickup. That truck struck a man who was pushing his son in a stroller.
The child was pronounced dead at the scene. The father was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
The drivers of the vehicles were also hospitalized.
The intersection is expected to be closed most of the day because of the accident investigation. Police are trying to determine exactly what caused the crash.
They said it appears one or both of the drivers were at fault and that the child's father obeyed all traffic laws.
The witnesses said the man walked the route with the stroller daily and was very proud of his son.
