Might not need antibiotics or creams. A lot of the time you need quality nutrition and to stay off of it. I deal with wounds all the time in the ICU and there are many we just dont do much but keep them covered.

No, this covers her whole lower leg from half way down her shin to her the bottom of her foot.

i figure that is possible since she has seen so many doctors already. But this has been going on for probably 6-8 months from what i am understanding.

If she's diabetic you need to quit playing around with doctors in a box and hit the ER.

Yea, we aren't sure if she is or not. That's getting tested.

We had a nurse out today and they cleaned her up. Looks like they are going to come out and clean it everyday. She was previously having it done once every 3 days.

they can take a long ass time. Bad circulation, diabetes and poor diet will make it all worse.

my grandmother had this same problem on the side of her ankle....They tried so many different treatments and it just kept spreading...They resorted to using a wound vac and that started the healing process but the thing that helped the most was them using a Silver-antimicrobial dressing...They were basically putting what looked like very small pieces of silver directly in the wound..Silver works very well in treating MRSA...The whole healing process took around 3 years

If no one has tried this then you need to mention it and get them to try it

Yea, the guy that came out today put some silver on it. Hopefully it's a regular thing. Looks like they are going to be coming everyday.

Man, dunno how this is all going to work out. She may be here for a long time.

Take her to a hospital. Trying to find a small first aid clinic could prove costly. Goggle for diabetes amputations.
