Well suck. So long ago no one remembers much about it. How do you know its a chevy not a gmc?

There is / was a wrecking yard east of Canton on 64, maybe at 19 or 17. North side of the road. Can't really remember exactly but it was before Ben Wheeler. Never been in it but I do remember a wrecker maybe like yours out front. Display only.

However that was 8 to 10 years ago. I just thought it was cool looking and remember it.

Don't go that way to much. wife's drama laced family and I don't want to go thru Canton. That all said lots of steel was scrapped out when prices went up. Another yard that I know of scrapped out everything and closed.

          Good luck.

Called them after reading this. The place open does not have one, but he has a friend who had one similar from the local area. Guy is going to call and see if by CHANCE......maybe

I hope it works out, but the odds of finding that old Chevy are probably worse than winning the lottery. Work trucks tended to get used up. When it wore out, you just got another one. It would be an easy truck to replicate though.

Also just talked to Henry Lewis of Lewis Chevrolet, he knew him post wrecker service time, and only during the fence company and corner store!
                dang it!

If it can not be found, then i will build one very similiar!
