He is scamming you, trying to buy time. File with paypal and get your money back.

I'd get my money back and find something else. Once I get lied to then fuck him.

Call him on his shit and ask what the tracking number was for. He could have you confused with another customer but more than likely he is lying. I vote giving his number to a certain movers website.

I'd have already filed with paypal. Odds are, he closes his account with them and you get a judgement but not your money back. That's happened to me twice.

I informed him that I hadn't seen the package nor a refund for the items and that I'd be contacting his employer and his apartment complex if I didn't have either item by this coming Monday at the end of the business day. I told him I felt scammed and wasn't going to take it lightly if I was indeed lied to.

                He suddenly replies with:

"OK first don't threaten me. I'll ship the items out this coming Thursday when I get back"

So.....looks like the tracking number bit was fake. The items were never shipped.

OK dfwmustangs....where do we go from here?
In that case go ahead and file. PP will give him 3 days to respond. If he does not respond they will just refund you full price and even supply a shipping label to return the item if it gets sent out. Even if he does replay you just give a copy of the email that gave the shipping number and also the email saying he will send it out when he gets back. they can see the time difference and that's a seller being fraudulent and they ALWAYS side with the buyer if there is even a hint of it.

I buy several thousand a month through PP and sometimes a distributor will screw up and then ignore me so I file and always 3 days latter I have the money back.
Good judgment comes from bad decisions and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.

Don't let him stall you past PP's return policy.

This isn't as big as the Saleen situation, but I'm sure we can still mess with the guy.
