I'm at the 32 hour mark and starting to feel pretty out of it. We have to finish up by 1 though because the media is coming out. Nice to know when we'll be finished.

Yeah what sucks most about working that long (at least for me) is it seems to take 2-3 days to recover fully from it. Lawdy though, when you lay down it's like you're floating and bam zonked out.

Well, clocked out with 35.5 consecutive hours. Had a great time, as is usually the case with a crew job, and the GM bought us breakfast and beer. I've got another 30+ hour Friday/Saturday marathon this weekend to cap off one hell of a week.

We are the hired preparatory staff for a number of museums and collectors nationally. Part of the job is safely transporting art and antiquities. It's a turn key service. We handle it from start to finish. In essence, we are constantly in a position to become a part of history....especially if something goes wrong. It's really an amazing career. It has afforded me opportunities I would never have had.

Nonsense. You get better answers this way. The voices inside my head are smarter than most people.
