MPG is one thing. I drove an ecoboost fusion from new orleans to DFW, averaged 34mpg @ 85mph. That's insane.

The dealer mark-up won't last that long....not on a mainstream car like this. Especially with the way most of these dealers are focused on units sold vs. profit per.

By the time the 16's roll around we'll be getting the same deals we got on the 12's and 13's. My 13' stickered at $37,520 and I got in it $32.2 on a Skip deal....that was in August of 2012.

Cars are insanely overpriced.

To be fair, you get A LOT more in a car nowadays. I bet a 2015 with an anemic straight 6 with 120 hp and no power ANYTHING, no safety equipment, etc would still go for less than $18K, but nobody wants that. We have only ourselves to blame for having higher standards.

Edit: and the government for requiring a lot of expensive safety stuff.

Modability and kick-in-the-pants fun of a turbo would be my guess.

305/300 isnt a slouch. I bet with the turbo torque will come on early and strong. I now wish I would have gone to the Ecoboost experience they had in Arlington this past weekend. I didnt think they would have a mustang there, but they did.

305/300 ran a 14.3@99 in my cobra. Of course it was geared wrong, had 180K miles on it, and didn't hit the power till 4K RPM, but still.

2.3L though? I'm a huge ecoboost fan, but damn... I don't know about that. The car looks pretty damn heavy, it can't be very peppy. Assuming it's around 3600lbs, it's just about the same power to weight as a stock 225hp fox notch.
