I know a guy who worked at a fast food place when it got held up by an armed robber. The guy jumped the robber, grabbed his revolver, and pulled the trigger repeatedly. Gun had no bullets in it, lol.

Unfortunately the guy lost his job.

The last guy we dealt with tried a "suicide by cop", but his gun was empty. He ended up getting Tazed (not by me)...

I would not having a problem helping out an officer or anyone for that matter but if it was an officer I would be screaming "Officer do you need assistance?" at the top of my lungs before jumping in. I'd hate to get shot in the melee because the officer thought I was an assailant.
