How does the cop know that he is needy, I;ve been pulled over by these cocksuckers for expired, inspection, registration, no front plate and have never been let off or offered a hundo to get my shit updated...

        FUCK THE PLANO POLICE DEPARTMENT!!!
If you don't start the conversation off with "Why the fuck did you pull me over...", maybe they'd be nicer!

Registration costs more than $50, how did he register two cars, and pay the dismissal fee of the ticket with just $100? And that's assuming the asshats at the Plano Municipal Court let him slide with the dismissal fee...

            Wow.

It was just a random act of kindness. As made evident by how he didn't tell anybody what he did. The guys grandfather wrote in about it, thus the news story.

Not everybody has negative experiences with the cops. I was pulled over for speeding once in Plano and got off with a written warning. All I did was be courteous and didn't try to give him a line of BS about why I was speeding. And this was in my GTO, with moderately loud exhaust at the time.

Depends on the age of the cars. Dismissal fees are usually $10. I've paid way more of those things than I care to remember. I'm sure he kicked in a few bucks of his own, but this may have helped him enough to be able to afford to get it all done.

Assuming Matt didn't invent this story and mail it in, of course.

a year and a half ago though?

I've gotten TONS of warnings for lots of stupid shit. But I'm always courteous, respectful, and own up to doing dumb shit when I do dumb shit. If you're an asshole, you're guaranteed a ticket. It also helps to be white.

Fuckin' A. I've gotten out of more tickets than I can count. Of course I've also gotten more tickets than I can count, but most of that was in my early 20's. I'm in a pretty amazing stretch considering how fast I usually drive.

Kudos to cop with a good heart. Instead of kicking someone when they're down, he tried to help them.

Not the first time a Plano police officer has done this.

Or not the first (or second) time it's been posted.

                            This.

I have been pulled over three times this year and have yet to get a ticket. I approach the situation with honesty and have been treated with respect each time. Hell, Phaux and I got pulled over for going 20 over on new years day with a car load of guns and we got a verbal warning.

By going ahead and writing the ticket anyways?
