Dunkin' is awful. It's like plain bread with icing. They arrive at the locations frozen, not made fresh.

Shipley's are the best donuts by a long shot, imo. No one else comes close.

Their chocolate & Bavarian cream-filled are awesome.

I'd rather have KK than Dunkin', that's for sure. KK reminds me more of candy than donuts. Not bad in a pinch, though.

There is a new Shipley's at 157 and Harwood.

When the glazed are warm, they are amazing. Too hot and they just turn into goo in the box. Cold and they just aren't the same.

They also have a chocolate filled donut that is not filled with pudding or cream, but more like a soft, melted fudge icing. It's stupid good.

I tried dunken for the first time last month and was very disappointed, it was worse then any asian donut place. There is an Asian place on Davis just north of 820 that made some good kolaches and decent donuts.
