I get these just about every night in my yard. Are these from snakes? I've never seen a snake in my yard.

They look like someone is taking a pole and sticking it in the ground. Perfect shape, about 2 inches wide and looks to be burrowing UP not down. The closest water is probably half a mile away.
They are all over my yard and only in the back yard.

I know nothing about crawfish except that I will probably be eating a few tomorrow night.
