Here is another impatient father son hazing that is a bit more extreme. It's kinda old and some of ya might remember it. One other difference here is that it was done in their backyard enclosed in a privacy fence whereas the skateborder dad was at a public park. IMO, both videos are not the same but some would argue they are.

My boy plays baseball and you see the parents putting kids in too early for their development level and getting frustrated. I had a dad of another kid approach me and ask if my son was on something, because he is really focused. I said no, and this guy quipped that he got a dud and was worried his kid was retarded...his 4 year old kid, that never played ball.

As far as the skater kid, that may be just a nudge to get him over his fear of dropping in on that big ass ramp, maybe not. Either way you just don't do that shit. What if he fell backwards and smacked his head on the coping? There's ways to encourage your kids to get over their fears, and that's not one of them.
