when I was a kid up until about '06, I could name the vehicle behind or in front of me purely based on the light signature. I'm still good to this day, but up until I was in my early 20's, I could smoke anybody at that game

I'm more of a "anything with a motor" kinda guy.

That being said, new cars are boring. They have lost thier soul with all the electronics and "flappy paddle gear boxes" as clarkson put it.

I've always been around cars, hell my mom cracks jokes about "bbbrrumm bbbrrumm" noises when me and my brothers where lil kids. I fell in love with a '65 barracuda my dad had and his '73 charger. I had my first car at 15 it was a '88 camaro i put a 350 in, a '78 f-150 4x4, a '85 fila edition thunderbird which i switched from cfi to s.o. sefi, and my favorite car a '89 lincoln mark vii lsc. ive been under a car since i could crawl and helping my dad work on them since i could read fractions. I learned to read because of car magazines.

I think you're born into loving technology, but bred into loving cars primarily .

That's part of the reason I think modern cars are so much cooler than classic. Taking nostalgia out of the assessment and focusing on what the car has to offer obviously favors new shit. Being a technology person is also why I favor f1 over all other Motorsport.

Both of my parents are weirdos, and neither was really into cars. I was into guns first, then when I got a car I fell in love with them, and started reading everything about them I could get my hands on. I still love guns more, but cars are only a hair behind them. Funny thing though. It's always the cars new girlfriends get warnings about, not guns. They're told that I was into cars before them, and I'll be into cars after them, and they can do with that information what they please.

Bred. I did not want anything to do with cars until I moved into a house that came with a broke down 66' Jag XKE in the backyard and the neighbor had a 57' T-bird and a real 289 Shelby Cobra. He taught me have to drive a stick in the Cobra and I have been car crazy ever since then.
Magnus, I am your father. You need to ask your mother about a man named Calvin Klein.

I have always been into tinkering/ modifying. Cars where a logical step.
