Missing wheels and rims from Saturday night theftTYLER, TX (KLTV) - Many cars are on blocks at Wagner Cadillac in Tyler, after wheels and tires were stolen off of twenty Cadillacs Saturday night.

According to a Wagner Cadillac employee, many of the wheels had wheel locks, so the thieves had to have the correct tool to unlock them.

Lights were also found cut in parts of the lot Sunday morning, believed to have been done by the thieves.

Workers at Wagner Cadillac say that the missing wheels and tires could total around $100,000 in parts.

No shit. Wheel lock breaker: available at any auto parts store for about $30.

A friend of mine has an Escalade and his wheels were stolen in his driveway twice in a couple of months. It's crazy. They need to start putting serial numbers on those wheels. Won't solve the problem, but maybe will help to find them when getting re-sold.

They'd need a covered trailer to hide & haul that many wheels and probably an hour minimum to lift/block/strip/transport wheels on 20ish Cadillacs. How in the hell does that happen and no one has a clue? Someone at that dealership knows.

Perhaps y'all missed the part about Cadillac wheel locks. They are obviously superior.

I bet they did it in half that time. The guys that do this are pros. Cordless impacts, the right tools, etc etc. There were probably 4 or 5 of them.

Or probably the lock you can buy at the parts counter.

Glad I have the ugly 17s on my Silverado so it doesn't get a second look.

NASCAR should look into hiring some of them for their pit crews, bet they can do one in under 15 seconds!
