3 nights or under, this is what I do. Then just call down to the desk if new towels or more coffee are needed.

I just prefer that they not go through the room while my stuff is in there, more than anything. And I don't live like a slob, so see no reason for it to be cleaned daily. It's not like I clean my house every day.

As for a tip, in vegas I will leave a few dollar chips, otherwise it's usually just the pocket change that I have accumulated (a buck or two).
