how much to tip the maid

So I'm gonna be living out of the Hilton for about two months, maybe more, while working out of state. I like my room spotless and usually tip well my first night in any room to make sure it stays that way.

My question is should I tip on a weekly basis and what percent? I tip 30% of the nightly rate on a shorter stay but I ain't paying that every night. And no I'm not going to tip with my junk.
