  • Not used to double goodness in one day...

So I am just sitting in my office doing paperwork and thinking I haven't eaten today and could really go for a steak. So I go to make an order for a steak from Roadhouse and no sooner than I could pull out the phone a black Mustang GT pulls in the lot. Cool. Then two smoking hawt girls get out and point at my office. Way cool. They then reach inside the car and pull out several "to-go" boxes and head my way. Ok, really cool. Then I see they are wearing Texas Roadhouse (my favorite steak joint) shirts. They come in and say "Hey, here is some free food and some coupons for some more free food."
I just stood there giggling like I was special needs.

After they left my other customer (good repeat customer) says he don't wanna fix the 96 Lincoln Town Car (rats chewed through every wire there is..and the fuel lines) and tosses me the title.

I don't know what good deed I did but I wanna do it again. LOL

Calling BS on the first part, but cool score on the car. What are you going to do with it?

My friend had some rats chew up the wires in his Audi. Cost him $8000 to have it repaired.

No BS. Me and my coworker were dumbfounded. :

I know people on here know how to read the time stamp on pics.

As far as the car, not sure. 96 TC isn't worth much. I may part it, may fix it or may sell it whole to someone that wants to invest 30 hours into running new fuel lines, air lines, vac lines, injector wires, ignition wires, door module replace, PATS rewire, MLPS rewire and replace.

              lolz.

I have only been to three Roadhouses and all of them seem to have the same 19-23 year old 5'1" petite blonds and brunetts. One of each was here.

Did you do some work for a manager or owner of one of the locations?

Rolls, butter and fried mushrooms. It has to be someone I know because I often speak of the fried mushrooms but it is not something normally on the menu.

I would be worried that they would show up tomorrow with some piece of shit needing work and start off the conversation with " Remember when we brought you lunch".........

I doubt it. At the parts store I used to manage we had food places dropping off free food every few months. Jimmy Johns and Subway for the most part, I definitely never got a steak.

For some reason, it reminds me that before I managed the place, one of my old bosses used to bring us chips and salsa after his lunch from Campo Verde. It was a big package so we would put it on the side counter. I was helping this orca one day and she just decided to dig into our damn food without even asking. She was hesitant, too, like she knew what she was about to do was fucked up, but she just couldn't resist the siren call of the heavy salt.

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.
