Tails, the thing I wanna know the most is how the hell you get 55,000 posts on this board!?!?! I mean holy shit. Do you live on this board? No disrespect but man there's a whole world out there.

I would think someone as invested in this forum wouldn't want it clogged with a buncha stories about the same garbage from places that aren't relevant to cars or even this area

Yes that Baylor story is REALLY crazy. That dude was a serious problem. And a whole lotta people covered his ass.
I think the JAMA article is fair on their numbers. It's no wonder you can't film the birth of your child now...Don't need no evidence do they ??
I'll tell you, a hospital in Plano damn near killed my mom. They had her so doped up or morphine when she fell and broke her arm. She's been in the hospital for 8 weeks now. They had her so doped up, she was bed ridden and needed to learn to walk again.. we had to forcibly move her.
Yes, plenty of bad cops to watch...But perspective of other issues helps to bring a better balance in the focus.

13 posts a day, that's how. There's a whole world out there? You don't say?

        Bonneville Road Trip:
Fly in to Los Angeles Sept 10th. Go to Hertz Counter. Pick up a 2012 Mustang GT. Proceed up the Pacific Coast Highway to San Francisco. Tour various filming locations of Bullitt, cross Golden Gate, etc. Proceed to Reno, Nevada. Lose some money. Drive across Nevada on Route 50, also known as the Loneliest Road in America. Many

        Roswell Road Trip:
Just a heads up, if you don't hear from me again, I've been abducted by aliens. Off work for 9 days and doing a little 2000 mile NM/TX road trip in my 99 GT with my dog. Already hit Amarillo and Cadillac Ranch. I think Highway 70 that leads into Roswell could rival Route 50 in Nevada as "The Loneliest Road in America

        Alaska Road Trip
August 17th. Fly into Portland, Oregon, get rental. Head to Timberline Lodge in the mountains. The Timberline was the hotel that was used for the exterior shots of The Shining. Get up and head to Mt St Helens and Seattle. Tour Seattle Underground and Kurt Cobains house. Head to Vancouver, Canada. Stalk Phil, see what trouble is

        New Orleans Road Trip:
Headed to New Orleans and Pensacola for a week next week Saturday. Going to finally stretch out the legs on the new 5.0. Looking for additional ideas on things to do, probably be swinging through Bayou La Batre and Mobile, maybe Biloxi(which I know is a shithole)and will only spend a day or two in Pensacola; most of the trip

        Mid-Western Road Trip:

        Key West Road Trip:
Back on January 21st I was spending a typical day dicking around. Late last year I had planned to take another road trip, but after my dog passed away I decided to rescue another Border Collie pup and put things on hold until we got acclimated to each other. I hadn't looked at NASA's launch schedule in awhile, and when it

And there were only 33 police shot last year in the line of duty. What that 309 number doesn’t account for is the number of people who got the shit beat out of them by the police, the number of people whose houses were busted into because the police made a clerical error on a no knock raid and don’t forget the number of dog’s shot because they didn’t like the way it barked at them.

Why should citizens be respectful to record cops when they usually aren't when they are recording a citizen? There are good cops but I have yet to see one say "Hey, if this recording you thing is bothering you, I'll turn it off and if me running behind you for 10 miles on your bumper is distracting, I'm sorry, I was running your plates."

Are cops who are assholes wanting their 15 minutes of fame? And there is a reason cops don't like cameras that they can't control. I can think of a few this past week where cops shot innocents, and a few more where citizens are shot in the back and the recordings are 'lost."
June we get body cams that record us 24/7 and only delete after like 30 days. So your argument is out on that. My department says it is a violation of policy to just turn my camera off at will. Plus I would think this would be something you would frown upon. I have never lost a video of any sorts.

I will keep in mind their are no good cops when I receive my life saving medal next week. The one I will stack on top of my other 16 or so commendations with zero internal affairs investigations over misconduct. Only internal I was ever a part of was a deadly force incident. I ended up with a medal of valor out of that one. Just like all the fucked up soldiers that are out there killing random people and throwing puppies off of cliffs, their are always percentages. You can not ever predict how someone is going to turn out on the streets. Every profession has fuck ups, however I choose not to associate with them in my profession.

He just likes to cry foul all the time and searches the internet all day for stories from random ass towns across USA where JimBob deputy did something stupid. Waste of posts.
I hate to tell you kiddo, there is a block feature and if you see my name posting, you pretty much know what you're going to get but you have a crush on me. I respect that, I really do because I'm awesome but dammit, no more telling me you had your tonsils removed.

Frost did something stupid at one point, got popped and arrested and now is a cop hater. He wont admit it but its true. People dont devote as much time as he does to hating a certain group without a bad experience at some point.
How much do you want to put up for your theory? I'm willing to have my background run to check if you're going to put up some cash. If I have one arrest in this country, I'll hand you $100. Ball is in your court sport

Can a doctor approach you on the street and, by his word alone, take away your liberty or kill you? Can a doctor enter your home without reason and kill your pets and your family and get a paid vacation until the heat dies down and then go about his way?

Go ahead and ask me how many people I have tazed or pepper sprayed in my career. Also ask me how many dogs I have shot or how many people in the line of duty I have ever took a swing at. Also you should know I worked in one of the highest crime cities in the Dallas area for 11 years.

Not once have I said there are no good cops. There are. Absolutes when dealing with human nature do not apply. You say it's a violation to turn your camera off 'at will.' What about if it has a failure? Are you immediately notified? Are they? Do you immediately go get another? What happens when you see a cop gun down someone unarmed? Do you disarm them and arrest them? The incident posted up of the cop 'accidentally' shooting someone in the back while they're on the ground, what is your response to that? I know if I accidentally shoot someone on the ground my ass is toast. Do you disarm and cuff that officer?

What happens when your officers enter the wrong house and cause property damage and kill a pet? Does the officer get handed a bill and jail time? Do you arrest him? I know what happens if I kick open a door and start opening fire. Tell me cops stop other cops from these actions when they happen. Tell me there's no cops deleting their videos and mic data and no PD's helping to avoid lawsuits. Tell me police do not protect each other when things don't look too favorable when a weapon is drawn.

Before it's said, yes this stuff happens with soldiers. Unlike cops, we are usually deployed to a war zone when this happens and the people we deal with aren't protected under the constitution. We are also massively punished for our fuckups. Hell, you have one Marine urinate on an insurgent who was trying to kill him a few moments before and the President calls for your head. Who watches the watchers?

Yep, me too. He catches a lot of hell but is, from what I gather, a good guy. You really don't see him defending bad cops and is a straight shooter. I have no issues.
