I'd start with the cheapest. You can always bump it up later.

I had 15/5 forever and recently went to 50/25, I didn't really notice a change.

Netflix will still be a bit slow at times (evenings) but that is no matter what speed you run at home.

This. I have 50/25 and want to step it down, since I don't game online anymore. Netflix will be a little glitchy at times no matter what, because Verizon and the rest are trying to push Netflix around, at the expense of their customers by slowing streaming speeds to prove their point.

I just ordered a new package.. They have triple play (prime HD, 50/25 and phone) for $69/month. I thought it was cheap enough I paid the extra $10 and got 75/35. They do have a $250 gift card option though it is cheaper to build your own bundle.

Once we close on house, ATT Uverse is only cable that's available. Their fastest speed is only 18/6 so that's what I will have come May 1...

Get the 50/25 unless you don't want to spend the money. 15/5 is starting to get a little thin for today's streamed content and downloaded sizes. I have the 75/35 and am probably going to downgrade to 50/25 and drop the cable TV portion altogether.

I have 15/5 through TWC at my apartment and it'll stream 1080i content from my house just fine. Amazon movies get jittery but Netflix works fine.

Uverse at my house is 6/1.5 still, woohoo! Or for the same price I can get 60/4 from Charter.
