Any of yous dames take advantage of the luxury of public transportation provided by the fine people at Dart and the city of Dallas? I've been riding the orange line (train) since Jan and its not too bad.....it smells like a butt in here all the time but what are you gonna do. I've noticed a lot more people on here recently. Maybe its the gas prices. My job hooked me up with a pass and by hooked me up,I mean they're taking money out of my check for it. I guess it could be worse. I could be paying $10 a day in gas.

I use the TRE anytime I go to downtown Dallas. I enjoy it. I can kick back and read or whatever and it usually is faster. Not to mention no DUIs coming home from stars games.

For gas? Yes. I don't want to pay for gas and they're making me. My car hasn't been working anyway.....

Years ago I rode the DART train from Plano to Forest Lane for a month or so while my car was getting a new motor. It was actually kind of nice to be able to relax and not deal with the traffic on 75, but I always felt a little "trapped" not having my own vehicle handy. Rain made the trek downright miserable though, having to wait for a bus on either end.

If i worked in downtown i would ride on it. Saving wear and tear on your car not too mention not having to deal with clowns on the roads would be worth it.

I worked downtown and would jump on the bus quite a bit so I did not have to pay to park. Was not bad at all 15 years ago......

I'd ride it more if it didnt take 2 hours to get to work vs 25 mins. They really need to expand it.

The train wasnt bad, but I had hell with the dart bus the month I tried to not drive a few years back. I would jump and wave at the bus, yet it seldom stopped.

Now you know how I feel trying to hail a cab.

I rode it for the first time Saturday from Plano to Fairpark for the beerfest, it wasn't bad except for the ridiculous number of stops it made.

I rode Dart/TRE from Plano to ft. worth a few times, my biggest issue is the schedule. I can ride daily for $2.50.

I spend that daily in tolls.
