I've got 2 pair of Larry Mahan from cavenders I'm happy with. Bull leather are coming up on 4 and needing a new sole soon. The ostrich are 2 and look new still. I do need to have a nail fixed in those though. It pokes my foot occasionally

Some day further down the road in life I will have ML Leddys build me a pair of custom boots, but that will come after some nice watches and other indulgences.

Speaking of boots.. What would you guys recommend for a low cost work type boot? Under $100 preferably (if even realistic). They would only get occasional use, so should last a while. No steel toe needed, or anything like that. Looking for comfort more than anything.

Tried on several Lucchese boots and they just don't fit right. Ariat fit like a glove and are very comfortable for myself. These are some other ones I was looking at.
