my trailer has had the wiring ripped out, lights broken, axles bent, and tires trashed/wheels bent by quite a few stand up guys. I dont loan it out anymore, since I have to spend several hundred to get it back into shape so that I can use it myself.

Yep, I loaned my trailer out to a coworker and he had a blow out then proceeded to drive it, taco'd the wheel, messed the fender up and trashed the license plate. Since then I'm not too keen on loaning it out.

This. Anytime time I loan out my expensive stuff it seems to get trashed. Truck, auger, trailer, etc. No more. Plus the wear and tear on everything even if it doesn't get trashed.

My enclosed is being used as storage for the 71. Everyone knows not to ask .

I probably wouldn't loan it out, but rather do the transport myself. That way if anything goes wrong, I'm there to handle it.
