I didn't quite know where to put this but I know that we have some metal fab guys on here. I need a steel table built and the dimensions need to be 8' x 30" x 40" (LxWxH) I need at a bare minimum a 3/8" solid plate top and at least 6 legs with some bracing etc... I am going to place about 500 - 600 lbs of equipment on top of the table so I need it to be solid. Quotes or recommendations welcome

Midlothian. I have an idea in my head of what I would like it to look like more or less. I am thinking 2" square tube for the legs with like 3/16" or 1/4" wall thickness on the tubing. Maybe 8 legs would be better for that size tube? I would like the bottom of the top plate to have a border of this 2" tubing as well on the underside with the corners where it meets to be angle cut so there is no open ends. Dunno if that is the right terminology for all that but I could draw it out. I could build a table out of wood to do the job fine but like I said I am going to be putting machines that live in oil and grease on top of this table so I need something that will be easy clean up and not absorb the oils.
