I'm full of shit remember? It doesn't matter I trade volatility etn s dangerous but also rewarding. Bagging 25 percent a day is pretty fun

Why do you like aapl or baba with China falling apart

I sold my BABA shares for a pretty large loss a while back. I am still in AAPL. I figure as many people that have iPhones, it is fairly safe for a few years. But I am new to this and have not done well. I did make some money on PLUG, ICPT and JCP. But I have lost more than I have made on BABA, FCEL and RSHCQ. I bought RSH at 1.00 (300 shares), thinking they would get bought or merge with Sprint. Then it did not happen and they filed bankruptcy. So now I am sitting on .08 a share.



I still have my funds from selling BABA. I am waiting to add to either AAPL (below 100) or possibly add to my FB if it drops a bit more.

I only got started in this with a little mad money to get a better understanding of how it works. I was unhappy with Princor and our retirement account. I played the dfw market game the first or second round. Figured I learned a little so why not open a scottrade account. I bought PLUG, ICPT, JCP, WYNN and KO. Did pretty well the first few trades. Then Wynn started going down and learned how to use a stop loss before I got taken to the cleaners. Last year when we decided to move I moved everything to AAPL. I still had my BABA ipo shares and the small positions in FCEL and RSHCQ. Added some money last week on the dip and picked up FB, lowered my cost average on AAPL. Then after listening to China, China, China...I sold BABA. I keep saying I am only going to buy dividend stocks but I keep hearing FB is a bargain headed for >100.

Been in TVIX since the downturn its doing well for me. It seems like it has reversed course and I think the market has topped. It's very dangerous though

I decided to make a plan and not try to ride the waves. I did notice spot price on vix was just a tad lower than sep futures today. Been adding weekly I think more volatility is to come. Slow99 have you been adjusting for the backwardation in the vix futures? They have been in contango for such a long time but now it seems things have changed. Happy $$$ hunting

Yeah, the vix futures crossed back this morning, now in contango ... at least til this afternoon.

Hold on to your jocks everyone, here we go!
