You need a few more solid days of selling before a panic starts. Remember a correction is 10%, meaning S&P 1790. It is not uncommon to have a 20% correction. We are way overdue for one.

Personally, I think unless the market has solid down day tomorrow, we will be right back at S&P 1980 next week for no reason at all.

Okay for those that study this stuff. PLUG is starting a slow climb from the low 4's to mid 5.50's today. If it gets up around $6 and just over 200 shares, (considering the tax issues). Is it worth selling before they report earnings in a few days? Small chump change, I know. But it works out making just over $300 in a few weeks on $1000 investment.

Nobody can tell you the answer to that because no one knows what the earnings will be. Your best educated guess may come from looking what it has done the last few times earnings were reported. There are a lot of shares that go down even after fantastic earnings because people load up on shares beforehand in anticipation of a blowout quarter.

Anyone else have some crazy dealing today Scottrade? I sold a position today and printed my order. Checked an hour later and the everything had processed. Then the system crashed. I login tonight to check everything and now I have to shares back??? Not only that it now shows I have 100% gain in those shares? The way it shows up, I paid nothing for the shares. Sounds great but somewhere it is going to catch up. So a trip to the office is order for tomorrow. This should get interesting!

I got a message stating something was screwed up and fixed. If you have a conf number you should be ok.

My trade did not go through and I am still holding. Good thing it was not a huge profit taking attempt! Today the stock is back to the level I "sold" at but figure maybe hold a little longer and see if it was a blessing in disguise!
