Rethinking your drinking

Damn I spend a lot on booze. Not to mention all the alcohol accessories; shitty bar food, tips, drinks for women. I want a new boat and am considering cutting way back and throw the extra cash in the pot.

I'm pushing $150/week on just drinks. So who's the worst here? Winner gets a BW3's gift card with about 4 bucks left on it.

Depends on the year. I've probably drank $10 worth of alcohol this year. 2011? Hoo-doggie. I could probably have my house paid off. Wish I had saved those receipt pics we racked up at Back 9 that year.

eh it varies. i usually drink at home and a 12pk will last a week or two. however i've had a few 2-300 dollar tabs

I'm happy with spending 8 bucks every few weeks for a six pack. I rarely drink.

I think that is going to go up withy the nice weather. Starting to enjoy just sitting outside and relaxing

My wife retinks my alcohol intake regularly. I fix and take my lunch everyday, and I fill my 2 1/2 gallon water jug everyday at work so I feel buying some beer to drink around the house isn't out of the budget. If I had a nickel for every dollar I spent at a bar when I wasn't married I could retire.

If I divided it into equally among seven days, I'm only drinking about a 6 pack a day.

Doesn't help when i'm paying $9+ for a six pack though.

When I drink it is usually at home, and usally whiskey. A 750ml bottle will last anywhere from a week to a month depending on if I only drink only weekends or have nightcaps during the week. At most it costs me $30 - $40 per week depending on what I buy. I go out to the bar less than once per month, and even then it is just two or three drinks. I don't drink get drunk; I drink because I like the taste of whiskey, so that does keep costs down.
