He's now a Master Gunnery Sergeant stationed in Pendleton and when I saw him out there, every single time we'd go out he would spot a group who was not wearing proper attire went to them and told them to change. He said it's like a daycare around the entire base.

The day care thing is because a lot of guys make it that way.both from the top and the bottom.

While rules on civilian attire are pretty straight forward most people give plenty of leeway.

Technically me wearing cargo pants and a tshirt are in violation of the regs. I'm supposed to be in a collared shirt, tucked in, wearing pants or shorts with belt loops and a belt.

It's ridiculous honestly but most people are pretty lenient with it. Some not so much.

The guys who wear shower shoes and PT shorts to the PX screw it up for everyone else.

Not this guy. He's OCD and by the motherfucking book. I've even seen him go up to civilians and tell them to do shit. I'm sure part of it is fucking around, but he likes to be in control. Told a lady who probably didn't speak an ounce of English to take her cell phone out of her bra and asked if she'd read the latest findings correlating to cell phones and breast cancer.
