Probably a marriage, maybe a kid. That's what did it for me, in fact just last week my sister in law said "You're about to be 29, what happened to you? You used to be all buff!" It's hard being unmotivated to work out anymore, but someone has to do it!

Marriage/kid/age/loss of testosterone/possibly grief of losing a claimed "four brothers"/etc...

The day care thing is because a lot of guys make it that way.both from the top and the bottom.

While rules on civilian attire are pretty straight forward most people give plenty of leeway.

Technically me wearing cargo pants and a tshirt are in violation of the regs. I'm supposed to be in a collared shirt, tucked in, wearing pants or shorts with belt loops and a belt.

It's ridiculous honestly but most people are pretty lenient with it. Some not so much.

The guys who wear shower shoes and PT shorts to the PX screw it up for everyone else.

I'll wear my old flight jacket from time to time depending on my mood.

If some douche bag comes over and starts ripping shit off of my over 20 year old jacket cause I don't have a current MilID there's gonna be issues....

Not this guy. He's OCD and by the motherfucking book. I've even seen him go up to civilians and tell them to do shit. I'm sure part of it is fucking around, but he likes to be in control. Told a lady who probably didn't speak an ounce of English to take her cell phone out of her bra and asked if she'd read the latest findings correlating to cell phones and breast cancer.
