Our waitress was a bit shaken by it, and went over to ask the other guy what the deal was. Apparently he saw that his patches didnt seem right when he walked in, so he asked, and then took them when he found the kid wasnt military.

Sounds like a good way to get arrested.

I always thank anyone for serving I see in Uniform or wearing a hat when I am out or traveling. Occasionally I'll get a bewildered look- those must be the posers.

You think a cop is going to arrest a soldier/veteran who takes unearned patches and insignias from a fake wannabe solider? NFW.

This kid was too scared of the real deal he was trying to act like that he didnt do shit. He didnt get up, raise his voice, call the police, nothing.

We were surprised he didnt just leave right afterwards. It must have been hugely embarrassing.

I would hope so, vigilante justice is way more dangerous than a kid wearing a uniform. You can't go assaulting someone just because you feel justified in doing so.

                        I think it's highly offensive.
There's just so much military jargon you can spot a phoney in about 30 seconds.

I wear a Los Angeles PD Academy T shirt sometimes to work out in. Jesus I hope no one thinks I have anything to do with that group of raging dog dicks.

That's no lie... I wound up playing golf a few months ago with a Ranger-turned-contractor and we spent the entire round of 18 talking of our military history, etc.

There's so much slang that nobody would get even in a 30sec convo if they hadn't served.

Do you stare at the black people menacingly? Do you see 2 hispanic women and see a huge black dude? Do you wanna shoot em?

If you said yes to any of these three, you are allowed to wear the shirt.
