        I go to great lengths to avoid 635. If I'm headed to far east Dallas or Garland, I'll go 35 to Woodall Rogers, to 75N and then east on 635.


        My Dad drives through that shit every day. I'd have offed myself already if I had to.

              I'm on it everyday to work and back. Luckily it's east of the tollway and that shit is wide open. Takes me 17 minutes each way in rush hour.

                        I hate 35 the most! And I mean ALL OF 35 going South all the way past Austin. But 635 would be the next on my list and 635 is great as long as you dont go past 75. Once you get past 75 its turns to SHIT FAST

                          It took me a second to realize your definition of "get past" was rejoining civilization.

                          I couldn't figure out why traffic on the east side of 635/75 would be worse.

                            The construction is a big reason. The other is there are too many people who work in that area. 635 isnt that bad as long as you stay off the section between 75 and 35

                                I don't blame those people. I was on it one time and there was a wreck. They closed the freeway. They blocked off the fucking road behind me and put cones up so new traffic would exit. Then no one came by and told us to back up or anything. Those idiots just thought I might have an hour or two to spare by sitting there on the fucking highway. God damn morons. I put it in reverse and backed up at least half a mile to get out of that shit.
