I'm curious to hear what you guys would do if you caught some little pervert peeping in your daughters window? I don't think you could shoot him since he's outside the house, so what's the plan of action there?

If it's dark, sure you can shoot them. "I heard noises outside and while investigating I came across an individual at one of the windows, who appeared to be trying to enter."

BTW, they don't have to be in the house to still be on your property.

He said pervert peeping. Very different IMO. Not to say I would necessarily shoot, but some random skeeve peeping into any windows in my house is going to at least get smacked around some, before the cops arrive.

Now, if I found a boy that was a friend / boyfriend of my daughter, and he was just trying to get her attention or whatnot, I would probably just put the fear of god into him and let him go. Probably call his parents while he is still there in front of me as well, to make sure they know what he is up to.

Oh, and lecture him about his chances of getting killed snooping around on private property in the middle of the night.

When my sister was in high school many years ago (1970's), 3 of her male friends came over drunk at 3 am in the morning. They started banging on the wrong window, my parents windows...and shattered one.

My Dad had my Mother crawl on the floor over to a phone so she could call the Police. He went and let out his attack/obedience trained Doberman Pinchers out back. Between the dogs and my Fathers famous hot temper 3 young boys 18 yrs old got there's asses handed to them.

Lets just say the Cops didn't arrest my Father, my Father didn't press charges on any of the boys, he figured they learned a valuable lesson and there parents were very apologetic....my how times have changed!
