I remember sitting in my grandmothers house and feeling the house shake. I was wondering what the hell happened, and about 30 minutes later the news cut in.

I was 7 and was at home that day. I remember the look on my moms face when it happened. Pretty sad that day.

3rd grade. Teacher had a look of panic and was just stunned as it happened... Not many of us really knew what was going on.

I was a freshman at Thomas Jefferson in Dallas (TJ). I had the flu, and my mom and I had just moved into this little rinky-dink apartment the prior weekend....I remember I was home sick laying on the couch watching it on a little 13" TV that I had setup on top of some boxes....had the rabbit ears kickin.

Watched it live in 3rd grade. My teacher turned the channel once it blew up.

I recall that day very well. I was in my 7th grade English class when it was announced over the PA.

Being the space nerd I was, I was trying to figure out what happened the second I heard the time after lift-off it blew up. I had a good book that had all that info in it, so I knew it still has the SRB's on it...
                    Some cars and a bike...

Some say... they have been raced, some a lot

I was in third grade watching it on TV. You could hear screams all down the hall way from the kids as the realization that the shuttle had exploded hit them.
