If I drank more beer, I'd put this in my house.

Bottom feed beer dispenser, shoots beer in from the bottom of the cup (obviously requires special mugs). The nozzle brings the beer in in a vortex pattern, creating a perfect head, and no waste.

A company also came out with these liquor monitoring dispenser systems. It won't allow a bartender to pour more than a predetermined amount in to any drink. They use wifi, to communicate with the restaurant's ticket/order software, and each drink entered gets a code, communicates with the nozzle on the liquor bottle, etc. While I'd hate to be a regular at a bar that uses one, as a bar owner it's badass to have, because theft is one of the top expenses you have.


Technology is AWESOME!

The bottom fill was on here a few weeks ago.

The coded dispenser was on CSI years ago.

A couple other companies have tried it, but not had success in the US market. They've been overseas for a bit longer. News to me, this is the first I've seen/heard of it. I work for Manitowoc (the ones that own the technology), but don't deal with the ice/beverage system side. They just released it at NRA this past summer, and won an innovation award for it.
