Actually..it's not. I own the 60" DLP and it is a light TV...DLP has bright vivid colors...I was impressed when I went from Plasma to DLP...very colorful.

Just hate the viewing angles. I had to bump brightness to 100% and contrast to 75% just so people sitting on the sides can watch.

I have the Diamond version of that TV, and it's fantastic. Never had a single problem with it, and the picture is crystal clear. It's not heavy either.


LED you can hang on the wall. DLP you can not. DLP is still the best bang for the buck when it comes to screen size.
