Any who, anyone ever owned a marauder? Just curious what there experience is with em. Ive had a wrangler tj before and loved it. Don't need much input there. I won't buy a BMW. Expensive parts.

Edit. When in sell the stang and find that perfect vehicle thats priced just right, it might not even be in tx. What are my options outside of flying there and picking up? How much is it to ship it or hire someone?

You'll spend more time flying there, but definitely go in person. Look at it in detail, etc and know that it'll get home without any mystery damage.

I went with a cheap cash daily and picked up a nice 01 TA. Auto, t-tops, leather, truly stock... Got it for cheap with no buyer's remorse. Last month some guy ran a stop sign and ended that perfect set-up for me. Got some insurance cash and went back to work at shopping. After looking at the same old shit OVER AND OVER, I threw up my gang signs and grabbed a nice Lincoln Mark VII and will use the rest of the cash to make it to what I want.

Cam, exhaust, drop the air ride for some lowering springs, and top it off with some ridiculously badass set of wheels that cost more than the whole car. Something along the line of some CCWs.

I have to admit that I REALLY like these old e30's. I kind of fell in love with them back in the '90s when I was working at Moritz BMW as a tech. Springs, struts, wheels and a few cosmetic updates and BAM = sweet little driver.

Still at it. The trade offers are coming out of the woodwork! As I stated in another thread, the trades are a bunch of clapped out trash... NOTHING matching my ad's description of a trade. Oh well! No cash buyers yet. Or at least none that have ACTUALLY made good of there word of showing up.

Anywho, While I was dickin around looking at Marauders. I started noticing the Impala SS. Love the look of both cars. I also like that the SS has a good ol fashioned pushrod motor and plentiful parts. Whats yalls take on those? These were made for 3 years and yielded 69k SS's in that time span. Their prices are comparable to the Marauder, if not more. Id like to get into a 96 if I had to choose. last year but was the only year with console shifter.

I said it earlier in the thread, I would take an Impala SS over a Marauder any day. The LT1 was overshadowed by the LS1, but that SOB can make some crazy power, and with efi 24x, you wouldn't have to worry about the optispark.
