if u had 10k for a fun daily, what would u buy?

Just as the title says. Looking for something fun but nice. Sold my f@50 and fox to consolidate to one fun daily. What would u buy? My initial thoughts are getting a low miles 99-04 mustang gt, another mkv GTI/GLI, or (I'd love one but hard to find) a Mercury Marauder... What is ya'lls take?

There were a few nice ones last week. Those boats are pure badassery.


Buy the Marauder and don't look back. Inspect the one you intend on buying thoroughly, as some of them have head issues (burnt valves usually). There is one on DFW CL with a new Ford OEM engine and rear end in it for 7k I believe.

Not a gm guy, although I always liked them formulas and the gto... As far as the Machs go, they range from 12-15k... Miles range from 120-25k. Only ONE on CL for under 10k but she's in Laredo... On the boarder.

There were a few nice ones last week. Those boats are pure badassery.

Tell me about it... Idk why either. I guess cause I started my career in those boats. Then add the upgraded suspension, brakes, @ tranny, plus the 32v? BAM!

Mach 1s are a good option too. They're Really simple, and they seem to run pretty well. With my crappy driving and only gears/exhaust mine's doing very well.

I guess I'm out of touch, figured 30-50k machs were under 10 by now. I only paid 20k for a perfect 8k mile mach in 05 and thought that was highish.

I'd love a mach. Behind the boss302, those Machs were my dream stang for ages. They just aren't in the books right now. I texted the guy with the new motor. He has no paperwork to back it up. Plus he says the air suspension is flashing on the dash. Which is a common expensive issue with these...

I bought mine for $7k and thought it was a bit high. 90k miles, but it had an engine put in a 75k due to someone throwing a rod under warranty lol.

Its stupid. I figured I could get a mach or a marauder. Wrong... They are stupid priced man. Look on CL right fast. Ridiculous.

That is still an option. But for 10k, getting a 4.0l tj is near impossible.

I didn't know they had air suspension...that shows you how much research I've done on them
Screw the air suspension, get springs on any Marauder you get...air suspension, from Ford at least, is trash in regards to durability.
