So you do need to be told not to email pictures of shit to people in your company? You're saying the rule is weak and punishment should be weak. I'm saying it's a rule not expected to be broken. So accept whatever punishment is handed down. That isn't even something I would think about emailing to anyone, personally. But I think people over react over that stuff. If I see something that offends or bothers me, I either ignore it, or take it up personally with the responsible party. I don't go crying to HR about hurt feelings. Man up, is what I am saying.

Region of the world has no merit on how an (our) employee conducts their-self. Our employee's office locations are held to the same standards if not even higher than that of our military's. We cannot even have pictures of women/men if they are not fully covered (no calendars). There is nothing on the walls or visible in my office that could reflect poorly on our company no matter who sees it. That photo sitting on anyone's computer screen would draw criticism from anyone. Would you use the shit photo as a screen saver? Of course you wouldn't. That should be a good indicator right there. Don't email it.

I am a hard person to shock. I have photos on my computer that I have taken that would make anyone loose their lunch though...especially if you view it directly after lunch without any warning what I am gonna show you.

I checked with my medic, that photo was not from an incident here in theater. In fact, there has not been a reported injury due to improper shitting practices in theater documented for our company. So his guise of a Safety Warning is warning against a non-issue.

This was an email sent because he was upset that he, a Laborer who supervises a cleaning crew that cleans latrines, wanted to share in his disgust. He succeeded. However, I don't need to see those visuals just as no one else needs to see the photos that I have of suicide bombers body parts like scalps, knees, cock and balls, arms, legs, melted flesh to car seats etc.

The few people I spoke with haven't "gone to HR"...HR got the same email. I took it up with the responsible party and told him that he might want to stop and think before hitting send. He obviously doesn't see his error. The only way to get people like that to understand is to put paper in their life. I have nothing to do with him being written up for violating the IT policy. That falls on HR and again, they got the same email.

Hell my Employee Assistance Program (EAP) guy called me laughing about this the same afternoon. We discussed it and even he said it was ridiculous that it was emailed out.

He used the cut ass photo as his safety lead in to send the email of the shit photo. That cut ass didn't happen from the toilet picture that he sent.
