  • THinking about buing a 02-03 F150 Harley. Have ?'s

How well do these trucks hold up? Whats a fair asking price for a clean truck with 100K or fewer miles? Thinking about trading or selling the 95 OJ Bronco and getting into one of these HD trucks.

I have no input on the F150, but am interested in details on your Bronco.. Kinda miss my '90.

I miss mine. The key is finding one that's been taken care of. I've seen them pop up on CL from time to time but they're still holding they're value. The one's that I've seen at "steal" prices seem to be pretty rough.

A fair asking price for a clean, <100k miles truck would be $16k and up. I've even seen a few asking for more than that, though I've wondered how long they held on to it. You're more likely to find an 02 DSG or a black 03 for possibly less. The one's I've always kept an eye out for are the two tone's, which in IMO are the best. Those are the ones that tend to ask the highest dollar.

Definitely a bad-ass truck. Keep an eye out for the spark plug blow out issue. Lightnings had this problem and if IIRC, some of the HD's did too.

I know where a super clean one is, he'll probably sell it, ~70k on it.

I'd get the anniversary version, did the early ones come with blowers?

I was looking at one in Ennis for $13000. It's stock, gray, and has 89,000 miles. Id prefer the black and silver, but to be perfectly honest this isn't my dream vehicle. We just had a baby so I'm looking for a 4dr truck that offers a little excitement, and can tow a 24' camping trailer while seating the 4 of us. I already own a Novi powered 93 Lightning.

They get stolen a lot for the wheels.

I have no idea on the prices, but our 02 was a fun truck. Put a 6 lb lower and electric fan on it and put down 402/498 on the dyno. Later added the shift kit so it hit hard and quick on each shift.

The 01's did not have a blower, 02 and up do.

The one in Ennis is a similar color without the hood flames. Someone must have jacked the factory wheels because it has gray 20" anthrite bullets. Honestly I don't care, chrome isn't my thing.
